Nike Plans to Ditch Sleeved Jerseys Next Season
Hold this “L”, Adidas.
There is a God! Nike has reportedly announced their plans to ditch sleeved jerseys next season!
No more LeBron James ripping off his sleeves and no more NBA players struggling to flex after monstrous dunks because starting next years, sleeved NBA jerseys will be a thing of the past. The worst fashion trend in NBA history shall be no more!
For the past few seasons, Adidas felt the need to produce sleeved jerseys for a number of NBA teams for the purpose of boosting jersey sales for the very conservative sect of the NBA fans who apparently dislike the idea of showcasing their incredibly toned arms. For one reason or another, this novel idea never really took off.
Well, since Nike is taking over as the premier NBA jersey manufacturer in 2017-18, they will most definitely not be making the same mistake. The multi-billion dollar company is expected to release the initial NBA jersey designs for next year at some point this week.
Let LeBron James illustrate our feelings toward sleeved jerseys. Tell us how you really feel, Lebron!
May the four year sleeved jersey run rest in pieces!
