LeBron Passes Shaq For 7th on NBA All-Time Scoring List
The Cleveland Cavaliers may have fewer wins than the Brooklyn Nets in March, but that has not stopped LeBron James from continuing to get buckets.
On Thursday night, albeit in yet another Cleveland Cavaliers loss, ‘King James’ eclipsed Shaquille O’Neal for seventh on the NBA all-time scoring list. With 4:28 remaining in the game, James went to the charity stripe for three free throw needing only one make to reach 28,597, one more than Shaq. Luckily for James, he did end up making only one of the three, surpassing the Los Angeles Lakers legend.

Simply said, Shaq did not take the news of James passing him all too well.
Next up on the list for LeBron is Dirk Nowitzki who is currently sitting at 30,181-points. Wilt Chamberlain (31,419-points) is the closest non-active player within reach for the 32-year old superstar.
