Jazz Take Game 1 On the Road, but Lose Rudy Gobert
The Los Angeles Clippers are finally healthy and finished the season on a hot streak, what could possibly go wrong?
Well on Saturday night, the Clips lost control of home court with a Game 1 loss to the Utah Jazz who suffered devastating news just seconds into the ball game. After colliding knee-on-knee with Luc Mbah A Moute of the Clippers on the opening possession, Rudy Gobert, Utah’s defensive anchor, was forced to leave the game.

Gobert, who has averaged 14.0-points and 12.8-rebounds per game for the season did not return as he was taken to the locker room for an MRI, which determined a left knee sprain.
There is no word of how much time Gobert is expected to win, but any time missed by the star big man could be crucial for a Jazz team looking to make a nice run in the playoffs in an effort to ease their push towards re-signing All-Star Gordon Hayward over the summer.
The adversity of the NBA Playoffs definitely started early for the Jazz.
