Floyd Mayweather Wins Big Betting on I.T.

According to Forbes list, legendary boxer Floyd Mayweather’s net worth at the end of 2016 was estimated at $340-million. So what’s a little bit more dough for the retired boxer who capped off his career with a 49-0 record?

The Boston Celtics took on the Washington Wizards on Tuesday night, and Floyd decided to bet big on his close friend Isaiah Thomas and the Boston Celtics. The Boston Celtics star went onto drop a game-high 53-points, while the Celtics took down the Wizards in Game 2 by a score of 129-119. No one has scored more points than Thomas in a playoff game since Allen Iverson scored 55-points in the 2003-playoffs.

After the Game 2 contest, Mayweather took to his personal Instagram account to take a minute to not only pay tribute to his buddy Thomas, but to show off his profit, a staple of the Mayweather social media account.

With rumours circulating a potential bout with UFC’s Lightweight Champion Connor McGregor, it seems that Mayweather is in no rush to sign on the dotted line.

They don’t call him ‘Money’ for nothing.
