Boston Celtics Win 1st Overall Pick, Lakers to Pick 2nd

Eastern Conference Finals berth and now a first overall pick. Everything seems to be going according to plan for the Boston Celtics, that is until they kick their series off against the heavily favourited Cleveland Cavaliers.

But until then, even Paul Pierce is celebrating!

On Tuesday evening, the NBA held its annual draft lottery and with some of the top amateur players in the building, they all were able to witness a sneak peek into their future.

With reports suggesting that Lonzo Ball is planning to only workout with the Lakers, it is up to the Celtics to decide whether to draft the UCLA guard or not with the first pick. They can also opt to turn to the consensus top prospect, Markelle Fultz, or go with a bit more length in Josh Jackson. Of course, the Celtics can also look at trading the pick as well.

Only time will tell, as of now, the Boston Celtics are on the clock!
