Your Guide to the NBA Draft Lottery

While only four teams remain in the 2017 NBA Playoffs, 26 other franchises turned their attention to the annual draft lottery, which will take place on Tuesday night.

14 ping-pong balls will determine the future of 14 lottery teams who hope for a chance at drafting a franchise-changing player. For Brooklyn Nets fan, tonight will be a night they are far to used to thanks to Billy Kings infamous trade, moving the potential first overall pick in this years draft to the Boston Celtics, a team still enjoying their playoff run.

With a deep pool of talent in this year’s upcoming draft, NBA clubs will be hoping to get a hold on amateur stars of the calibre of Lonzo Ball, Josh Jackson, Markelle Fultz, and De’Aaron Fox.

The odds of receiving the top overall pick are as follows:

12. Detroit Pistons (0.7%)

11. Chatlotte Hornets (0.8%)

10. New Orleans Pelicans (1.1%)

9. Dallas Mavericks (1.7%)

8. Sacramento Kings (2.8%)

7. New York Knicks (5.3%)

6. Minnesota Timberwolves (5.3%)

5. Orlando Magic (8.8%)

4. Philadelphia 76ers (11.9%)

3. Los Angeles Lakers (15.6%)

2. Phoenix Suns (19.9%)

1. Boston Celtics (25%)
