Stephen Curry Releases ‘Special’ Edition Kicks
I think it’s safe to start counting down the days until Golden State Warriors’ superstar Stephen Curry signs on with Big Ballers Brand.
I mean, on the sneaker front, Curry is recognized for producing some of the worst shoes in the NBA, including his nursing shoe-looking kicks that he and Under Armour dropped some time ago. Well, about a week ago, Curry’s reputation was compromised by none other than Lonzo Ball who released his first ever signature sure – the ZO2.
Your move, Steph.
The challenge was accepted. Unfortunately.
Curry designed a special pair of his latest Curry 3ZERO’s as a way of honouring his wife Ayesha on Mother’s Day. Chef Curry is definitely cooking and it’s nothing good.
“We wanted to take his shoe, and in designing for the postseason, we wanted to make it a lighter version,” said designer Kort Neumann. “We started with a marathon shoe, and now we’re building a racing spike or a race car for a 2-month time period.”
Well, I guess this means the ball is back in Lonzo’s court.
