NBA G League Launches First Ever Marketing Campaign
It has been almost a month since the NBA and Gatorade announced a partnership to rename the NBA’s development grounds to the G League. Now it appears as though the newly introduced NBA G League is making big business moves.
For the first time in its 16-year history, the NBA G League will launch its first marketing campaign on Tuesday, July 11, called ‘We Don’t Go For Good. We Go For Great.‘ The campaign itself will countdown to the league’s upcoming season, which tips off on November 3 with 26 teams as well as the hundreds of hoping to turn their NBA dreams into reality.
The campaign features the Toronto Raptors 905’s own Jerry Stackhouse, the 2017 NBA G League Coach of the Year, who will spotlight the amount of grit and determination that it takes for players to realize their NBA aspirations.
The upcoming season will be all about putting the work in and Gatorade will be right there with each of the athletes to provide the recovery and energy that they need to succeed.
