The Toronto Raptors 905 to Host NBA G League Showcase
For the second straight year, the NBA G League Showcase will be hosted north of the border.
The reigning G League champion Toronto Raptors 905 will hold the 2018 showcase in Mississauga where seven games will be held a day between the Hershey Centre and SportZone complex from January 10 to the 13. The event will feature all 26 teams, with each one scheduled to play at least two regular season games.
The main purpose of course of the showcase is for the G League players to get an opportunity to be scouted by each of the 30-NBA teams.

“We couldn’t be more excited to welcome the NBA G League back to Mississauga as the host team for NBA G League Showcase 2018,” Said Raptors new GM Bobby Webster in a news release.”
The showcase itself has proven to be of great value as many NBA hopefuls received their call to ‘the show’ following the event last season.
“Last year’s event proved to be successful on and off the court, and I’m looking forward to another week of great basketball and community events in the Greater Toronto Area,” G-League president Malcolm Turner said in a release.
