Jordan Brand Ending Carmelo Anthony’s Signature Sneaker Line
Carmelo Anthony feels rejuvenated, motivated, re-energized.
He is set to begin a new chapter of his career as a member of a Western Conference powerhouse – the Oklahoma City Thunder. While his uniform will be brand new, his shoe game will won’t be getting any upgrades. On Wednesday, reports surfaced that the Jordan Brand will stop its production of the Melo shoe series after 13-models, therefore making last season’s Melo M13 sneaker the final model of the shoe line.
While to this point, Anthony has been rocking the M13s, it is believe that the veteran star will sport a combination of shoes from the Air Jordan brand.
Anthony’s line is the fifth longest tenured line in shoe deal history. Michael Jordan is obviously at the top of the list with 32-designed models. Kobe Bryant comes in second with 17.
The company’s current face is ironically Anthony’s new teammate, Russell Westbrook.
