Spurs’ Kawhi Leonard to Miss Preseason With Quadriceps Injury
The San Antonio Spurs are just about ready to kick off yet another season in which they will most likely win 50-games and rest more players, spitting in the face of the recent NBA rule changes.
What more can we expect from Gregg Popovich?
Everyone in San Antonio looks ready to go, everyone but superstar wing Kawhi Leonard.
As per reports via NBA writer Paul Garcia, Leonard will miss all of preseason as he rehabilitates from a quadriceps injury. The 26-year old has very quickly turned into one of the game’s best two-way players, finishing third last season in the MVP race after averaging a career-high 25.5-points per game.
Thankfully, the injury doesn’t seem too injury and the Spurs plan to to use Rudy Gay in their superstar’s absence.
