New Orleans Pelicans, Zatarain Announce Marketing Partnership
Even the lowest valued NBA teams have good days.
The New Orleans Pelicans started their Wednesday off by announcing a marketing partnership with Zatarain, and will now wear the company’s logo on their jerseys this season.
“This is an opportunity for both the Pelicans and Zatarain’s to further expand our international reach. Gayle and I could not be more pleased to be able to partner with one of the most iconic brands in our community,” said Pelicans Owner Tom Benson. “Being from New Orleans, Zatarain’s has always been a part of my life and I am thrilled about our new partnership.”
Moreover, the Pelicans will not only just be rocking jersey patches. For every Pelicans slam dunk throughout the season, Zatarain will donate meals to the Second Harvest Food Bank charity, a foundation offering food for lower class communities, as well as nutritional education and public benefit assistance.
Zatarain, is a New Orleans-based food brand, which has been a world leader in New Orleans-style cooking since 1889.
