J.R. Smith Selling ‘Arthur’ Hats in Honour of James’ Instagram Post

Just a few weeks ago, LeBron James posted the cryptic ‘Arthur’ clenched fist meme on his Instagram, sparking numerous rumours on the reason behind it.

Was it because Kyrie Irving and the Boston Celtics were in the midst of a hot streak? Was it because the Cleveland Cavaliers kept on struggling? Was it the injury bug that has been affecting the Cavs in the season’s early going? Or maybe it was all three?

As for James himself, he simply shrugged off all questions and stated that he just likes ‘Arthur’. Nothing wrong with that. The man has young kids who may be fans of the children’s show.

After the media went crazy over the story, a few other Cavs players decided to have some fun with the idea.

Isaiah Smith and J.R. Smith decided to poke some fun at the media with their very own Instagram ‘Arthur’ posts.

Smith in particular decided to take the meme originally posted by LeBron one step further.

The Cavs’ shooting guard is now selling hats with the ‘Arthur’ clenched fist meme on it. Proceeds from the hats will presumably go to his charitable foundation, Team Swish, which benefits children in need. The hats are being sold for $40 dollars on teamswish.com, his foundations website.
