Delon Wright to Sit Out 1 More Month, Avoid Shoulder Surgery
Despite a horrific performance against the New York Knicks, the Toronto Raptors still came away with some good news.
After suffering what seemed like a serious shoulder injury, back-up point guard Delon Wright will avoid surgery and will remain out for another month. Wright visited specialist Dr. Riley Williams in New York on Wednesday, who believes that rehabilitation will be enough for the injured guard.
While remaining out of action, Fred VanVleet has taken over back-up duties for the Raptors. In 14-games this season, Wright has averaged 7.6-points per game while shooting an impressive 52.3% from the field.
