Rebuilding Phoenix Suns Deal Veteran Guard Eric Bledsoe to Bucks
Making trades in the early part of the regular season is by no means recommended.
After failing to trade Eric Bledsoe over the offseason, the rebuilding Phoenix Suns had no choice but to move on from the veteran guard after he tweeted out “I don’t wanna be here” on October 23rd. Bledsoe has not played since the controversial tweet incident.
Luckily for Bledsoe, It seems like his wishes to move on from Phoenix have been granted as according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, the Suns are finalizing a deal to send Bledsoe to the Milwaukee bucks. According to Woj, the Bucks will send Greg Monroe and a first-round pick the other way.
The 27-year old point guard has averaged 15.7-points and three assists in his three games this season. Meanwhile, Monroe has been averaging 6.8-points and five boards per contest and is in the final year of his contract. The move will provide the Suns with some extra cap relief as well as a roster spot after this season, while the first round pick will obviously go towards their rebuilding efforts.
