Raptors’ Delon Wright Out Indefinitely with Dislocated Shoulder
Despite winning five of their last six games, things aren’t all good for the Toronto Raptors.
In their win over the New Orleans Pelicans, the Raptors lost their back-up point guard Delon Wright indefinitely due to a dislocated right shoulder, an injury he suffered on the same shoulder last season during Summer League. Yesterday it was confirmed that the young guard will be out indefinitely.
The Raptors organization confirmed that the 25-year old will meet with Dr. Riley Williams in New York to undergo procedures and tests. In his absence, Wichita State alum Fred VanVleet should see a bump in his minutes.
In the early goings of the season, Wright has averaged 7.6-points per game in just over 20-minutes a contest.
