Milwaukee Bucks Eying McGee, or Pachulia as Potential Trade Target
For a team that loves to stretch the floor, run, and shoot a ton of threes, the Golden State Warriors have a surplus of big men at their disposal.
With the emergence of rookie Jordan Bell, and young, salary-friendly centres of the calibre of Damian Jones and Kevon Looney, JaVale McGee has become expendable. Losing a majority of his minutes this year due to Bell’s excellent play, McGee may be relegated to complete bench-warming role upon the return of Zaza Pachulia.
That is unless Pachulia is big man who gets moved.
The Milwaukee Bucks are in the market for a centre and they have contacted the Warriors regarding a potential trade centred around either McGee or Pachulia. With the Warriors looking at keeping David West as the centre of the second unit, either of McGee or Pachulia could fetch Golden State some sort of cap relief or even a potential draft pick.
McGee specifically has not been too pleased with his minutes this season after re-signing with the Warriors on a veteran’s minimum deal.
