Boston Celtics Jaylen Brown Out Indefinitely, On Concussion Watch
The Boston Celtics just cannot catch a break when it comes to horrifying looking injuries.
After losing Gordon Hayward for the season due to a terrible-looking leg injury, the Celtics held their breath when their young, second year swingman Jaylen Brown went down on his back after finishing a fast break dunk on Thursday night against the Minnesota Timberwolves. The building went silent as all the attention was on Brown who was lying motionless on the floor.
Jaylen Brown was able to walk off the court under his own power and it seemed like the Celtics and Brown escaped the worst.
“felt pretty good leaving the arena,” Said Head Coach Brad Stevens. “He went to get a CT scan. He’s with [Minnesota’s] team doctor, so he’s in good hands.”
Brown is currently out indefinitely on concussion watch. On the season, the sophomore is averaging 14.1-points per game while remaining a key cog for the Celtics on the defensive end of the floor.
