Cavs’¬†Center Tristan Thompson Out Indefinitely with Foot Injury

After two commanding wins, the NBA media world was ready to crown the Cleveland Cavaliers the best team in the Eastern Conference.

Well, things have not gone as smoothly since.

Despite a commanding win against a lacklustre Detroit Pistons squad, the Cavaliers have looked nothing short of mediocre of late. Now, more disaster has struck the Cavs, as starting center Tristan Thompson has gone down with a foot injury which he suffered against the Denver Nuggets on Saturday night.

Further evaluations post-game determined a severe right ankle sprain, which is set to rule Thompson out indefinitely. Larry Nance Jr. is expected to start in his place moving forward.

The Cavaliers simply cannot catch a break.
