Kevin Durant Out 2 Weeks with Incomplete Rib-Cartilage Fracture

First Steph Curry, then Klay Thompson, now Kevin Durant.

The injury bug has struck the Golden State Warriors yet again as Finals MVP Kevin Durant will now miss at least two weeks after an MRI revealed an incomplete rib-cartilage fracture. With the number-one seed slipping away from the Warriors, it may be time for Golden State to focus on regaining full health as they are set to defend their NBA championship.

“It’s just irritating because you just want to hoop,” Durant said. “As far as playoffs and all that stuff, I don’t think anybody is thinking that far down the line. Just taking it day by day.”

Durant originally suffered the injury in a loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves.

On the season, Durant has 26.6-points, 6.8-rebounds, and 5.4-assists in 60-games.
