NBA, Turner Sports to Stream Parts of Games Next Season
Open up your wallets and get ready to pay for basketball!
For an unconfirmed price, NBA fans will be able to purchase the rights to watch parts of non-national televised games regularly next season as per an announcement made by Turner Sports and the NBA on Tuesday.
This monumental announcement marks the first time a major sports league is set to offer fans the opportunity to buy parts of games. While the price is not yet set, NBA app users were able to stream the fourth quarter between the Miami Heat and Oklahoma City Thunder last Friday for 99-cents. The price of each game may also be dependent on the score and the importance of each matchup.
Nevertheless, this is an opportunity to watch more basketball, and if the price remains relatively reasonably, NBA fans will definitely not complain.
