Playoffs Starting Early

Nuggets,Timberwolves Vying for Playoff Spot in NBA Regular Season Finale

On Wednesday night, it’s winner takes all – win or go home.

For the Denver Nuggets and Minnesota Timberwolves, their playoffs will start early. The two teams will face off in game number 82 of the season with the final playoff spot on the line. Both teams sitting squarely at 46-35, the Nuggets come in hot, having won six straight, meanwhile the T-Wolves are winners of their last two games and boast an impressive 29-11 mark on their home floor.

Something will have to give on Wednesday night.

While the Wolves watched their performance slip following the loss of All-Star Jimmy Butler due to a meniscus injury, the Nuggets are a young team that has had their ups and downs this season, and will look to their star big man  Nikola Jokic to guide them to a spot in the 2018 NBA postseason.

The Wolves are 2-1 against the Nuggets this season and are favoured by Vegas, albeit only by three points. No matter, tonight, all the numbers will be thrown out the window, as the Houston Rockets first round opponent will be determined tonight!
