NBA All-Rookie Teams Announced

Simmons, Mitchell Lead the Way in All-Rookie Team Announcement

With Ben Simmons and Donovan Mitchell leading the way as the two unanimous selections, the NBA announced their two All-Rookie Teams on Tuesday prior to Game 4 between the Houston Rockets and Golden State Warriors.

Simmons and Mitchell, who were pivotal in their respective teams’ playoff run were joined by Jayson Tatum of the Boston Celtics, Kyle Kuzma of the Los Angeles Lakers, and Lauri Markkanen of the Chicago Bulls on the All-Rookie First Team. Tatum is currently in the midst of an Eastern Conference Finals series, trying to will his Celtics past LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Rounding out the All-Rookie Second Team are Lonzo Ball of the Los Angeles Lakers, Dennis Smith Jr. of the Dallas Mavericks, John Collins of the Atlanta Hawks, Bogdan Bogdanovic of the Sacramento Kings, and Josh Jackson of the Phoenix Suns.


Tatum, Simmons and Mitchell have also been announced as the three finalists for the NBA Rookie of the Year Award.
