ESPN, Netflix Partner Up for 10-part Documentary on Michael Jordan

Michael Jordan fans, prepare yourselves!

On Tuesday morning, ESPN Films and Netflix announced a partnership for a 10-part documentary on the legendary Chicago Bulls star. ‘The Last Dance’ is set to be released in 2019 and the six-time NBA champion has reportedly signed off on his participation in the documentary.

The film will be directed by Jason Hehir, who also helped produce ‘The Fab Five’ and ‘Andre the Giant’. The upcoming series is set to feature over 500 hours of never-before-seen footage of the Bulls’ 1999 title run.

 

A 14-time All-Star and five-time league MVP, Jordan is currently the principal owner of the Charlotte Hornets and the face of the Air Jordan brand.
