Carmelo Anthony’s NBA Career May be Over
It’s Carmelo Anthony’s career in the NBA over?
Thinks have been very quiet on the Melo front after the 34-year old parted ways with the Houston Rockets after just 13 games. The Rockets released Anthony on November 15, and since then there has really been no banter surrounding his future in the league. In fact, sources close to ESPN’s Brian Windhorst believe that this may be the end for Melo, citing his lack of ability on the defensive end of the court.
It does not help that Melo’s efficiency and style of offence does not bode well for the modern day NBA.
Team execs have told @WindhorstESPN Carmelo Anthony has likely played his last NBA game, but what about the teams whose primary interest isn't, um, well, winning right now? Melo is a popular locker room guy, fan fave & if his defense is lacking, maybe a front office won't mind? pic.twitter.com/PIRNCzB1K1

The former multiple-time All-Star averaged 13.4 points and 5.4 rebounds per game in his short stint with the Rockets.
If Anthony does continue his career, China is the most likely destination spot for Melo according to bettors, followed by the Denver Nuggets and Portland Trailblazers.
