NBA Reveals 2019 NBA All-Star Game Uniforms
In addition to the announcement of All-Star captains and starters, Jordan Brand also revealed the 2019 All-Star uniforms. Like last year, the uniforms come in black and white, as the teams have gone away from the classic East vs. West concept, to team captains selecting their own squads.
For the graphics and color combination of red, white and, blue, the Jordan Brand design team took cues from the early-90s style and the first Charlotte NBA All-Star Game in 1991. As a tribute to the host team, the uniform shorts include a 1991-inspired logo on the waist and side, a honeycomb pattern integrated into the NBA star logo and crowns for Queen City on the vents. “It was important for us to add details to honour the Charlotte community and the great fans there,” notes Jordan Brand Vice President of Design David Creech.
Color palette, team logos, player names and numbers all appear in black and contrasting-colour stars appear down each side as a tribute to past All-Star Game designs.
2019 Jordan Brand NBA All-Star edition Authentic and Swingman jerseys are available on nike.com and at select retailers. Reserve player jerseys will release January 31.
