Minnesota Timberwolves Fire Tom Thibodeau, GM on the Hot Seat

The Tom Thibodeau era has come to an end in Minnesota.

After a drama filled first half to the season, the Minnesota Timberwolves have pulled the plug on Thibodeau’s tenure as the team’s head coach and president. Over his time at the helm, the former Chicago Bulls head coach accumulated a 97-107 record giving him the second most wins in the franchise’s history.

Fred Hoidberg is rumoured to be Thibodeau’s replacement.

General manager Scott Layden remains Minnesota’s general manager, but is considered to be on the hot seat as well.

The Wolves are currently in 11th spot in the Western Conference, boasting a 19-21 record.
