The biggest stars never stay true to the profession that made them famous. From Justin Timberlake acting to Heidi Klum hosting and Kim Kardashian doing...well, whatever it is she does, opportunities to jump ship into new industries are common for celebrities. The top ballers of the NBA are no different and retired all-star Shaq might just take the top spot for dabbling!

 

There's no need to remind anyone of his misguided rap albums (He was also featured in a song with Aaron Carter, i.e. Backstreet Boy Nick Carter's little brother. We wish we were kidding.) [Ed. - There's always a need to remind people of Shaq's albums] or movie appearances (most notably Kazaam) but Shaq finally seems to have found the right niche outside of basketball: surprisingly, it's fashion!

He's recently launched a line of sunglasses that are appropriately sporty, fun and just fashion forward enough to appeal to a large demographic. Many celebrity-turned designers over-estimate their designing credibility by grossly over-pricing their collections (Remember J-Lo's upscale line of ghetto-fab wear called Sweetcheeks? Neither do we) but Shaq has stayed smart and priced the line affordably, starting at just $35 a pair.

Having teamed up with eyewear brand Forever K Michael to create the line, it consists of everything from large glam dark shades to slicker and sportier white-framed shades. Shaq fans should be sure to snatch up these hot commodity sunnies as the gift-giving season rolls around in a couple months.
