The Air Jordan 1 Washington is an awesome opening volley from the Air Jordan World Basketball Festival Pack, a series of a variations on the Air Jordan inspired by locales around the globe. Of the Festival Pack, the Washington easily has one of the coolest colourways out there right now.
An extraordinary variation on the Air Jordan, the Washington combines classic lines and colours into an amazing looking pair of footwear. With its obsidian leather, metallic gold lining, and its vibrant medal-inspired print, the Washington is going to be a stunner.

For some reason, camo’s kind of in season this summer, making its way into textures and prints rather than sticking to the paintball courts. But with New Balance’s stylish 890v2 Orange Camo, I really have no complaints.
New Balance really makes some of the most comfortable running shoes I’ve worn, and it’s nice to see them going for visual appeal as well. Very light (9.2 oz) and featuring a synthetic mesh upper, welded seams, and a REVlite midsole, the Orange Camo’s a damn fine looking pair of shoes.

Converse isn’t missing out on the World Basketball Festival, either. Their Converse Pro Leather WBF Collection will come in six colour styles of grey, red, and pink suede, and black perforated leather with accents of blue, pink and orange. Each shoe will represent a different participating city, as well as the classic Converse Star. Very stylish.

The Air Jordan collection is going to swamp this article. I’m sorry about that, but seriously these are stunning. Check out this Olympic edition and the Barcelona edition below. These are absolutely incredible looking.
The Air Jordan 2012 Lite Olympic sports a blue-white Flywire upper, matched with white lining, white mesh tongue, white outsole and blue heel, with red accents on the inner lining. Just gorgeous. These babies launch in time for the hype surrounding the London Olympics, just to get us even more pumped.

The Air Jordan 1 KO Barcelona looks great. Apparently based on a painting of a Spanish matador, the Barcelona sports a blue-white colourway, caged with beautiful grey canvas and black-red leather paneling. Going beautifully with the canvas is the blue lining, and contrasting with the whole shebang is the white midsole, the yellow rubber outsole. The shoe’s topped off with blue lacing. Beautiful.
Air Jordan 1 KO Barcelona, July 21st, $125
