For the guy who thinks a full wallet makes the best accessory: Frank & Oak

For the loaded guy who might need a nudge in the right direction: Trunk Club
When you start a subscription over at Trunk Club, you can choose the guy’s skill level (aptly ranked from clueless to aficionado), his favourite stores and looks he would wear to help a personal stylise recommend clothing he’d like to wear. Once that’s done, the guys on the other end will ship him a trunk of hand-picked luxury clothes to suit his needs for free, and he sends back what he doesn’t want within 10 days. This one can get a little pricier, with shirts alone going from $100-200.

For the guy that wants a choice (and a little help): Bombfell
Bombfell is a newcomer to the menswear subscription game, cribbing a little bit from each of its predecessors. The service begins with filling out a questionnaire that’s sent to a personal stylist who uses it—along with the subscriber’s social media history, of all things—to determine what new, single item he’ll receive every month. Conveniently, subscribers get to choose their price point, so that they’ll never get an item they can’t afford. The cheapest tier sends over button-ups and chinos worth up to $69; the mid-range tier adds jeans and sweaters worth up to $129; and the high-end tier offers premium brands, jackets and blazers worth up to $199.

For the guy who enjoys the little things: Manpacks
As guys, we tend to hold onto some things a bit too long—and those we don’t, we lose. Manpack allows guys to schedule quarterly shipments of some of life’s important necessities, such as underwear, razors, socks, soap, lip balm, condoms, under shirts and practically every other basic imaginable, all from superior brands including Calvin Klein, American Apparel and Gillette. Just create a custom pack and hit send. They’re not much cheaper than they would be in stores, but the convenience is well worth it.

For the man who wants to try before he buys: Birchbox Man
Every month, Birchbox’s subscription service will send the guy a sample-sized collection of handpicked, tried-and-tested grooming products to broaden his horizons. If he likes what he gets and wants to purchase the real thing, he can head over to the website to snag it as well as other cool stuff such as candles, menswear accessories, tech accessories and grooming tools. Birchbox comes with a magazine tie-in that helps the clueless lug navigate the world of style in case he’s a bit over his head, too.
