Kanye West let slip during a weekend show in Perth, Australia, that his new signature shoe, the Adidas Yeezy 3, will be dropping in November.
“And this is just the beginning,” he continued, “Because this is something that I want to create and do for the rest of my life.”
In a video of the concert speech since posted to YouTube, West went on to suggest that the shoe will be relatively widely distributed, and that fans will at least get the opportunity to try on a pair if they aren’t able to purchase one. As of yet, there have been no details released as to what the shoe will look like.
As excited as we are, we’ll take this announcement with a grain of salt—after all, in the same monologue he also said there are only two periods in history, “before Yeezus and now,” and claimed that shoe companies give athletes “$500-billion” endorsements. More importantly, it bears mentioning that his last collaboration (due out this past June) was delayed until at least 2015. So there’s that.
