Vancouver-based brand DU/ER has launched a pioneering line of durable performance denim. The company’s 9.5-ounce, triple-stitched jeans are designed to fit an active lifestyle and are made using a technical fabric engineered to stretch five times more than traditional denim. It’s 30 per cent lighter and 30 per cent stronger, too, and has that same soft, broken-in feel as your trustiest pair of jeans. The L2X denim fabric even has moisture-wicking and temperature control properties, so you can actually wear them during an impromptu game of pick-up and not worry about the sweat.
To learn more about the jeans or to buy a pair of your own, head over to DU/ER’s Kickstarter page. The first run of crowdfunded denim is expected to ship January 2015, followed by a retail release.
