These days, the NBA is chock full of style gods that many an apparel enthusiast can look up to: Russell Westbrook, Chris Paul, Nick Young, the list goes on. However, before they were veterans of off-court fashion, they were wet-behind-the-ears rookies pairing torn denim with Versace. This year’s crop of newcomers is no different, but we’re already starting to see a lot of promise from among their ranks. Excusing some of their shakier fashion choices—they are rooks, after all—here are the Instagram accounts of the most stylish new products in this year’s league. Give them a follow now and watch them transform into the straight ballers they’re destined to become.

Jerami Grant
Followers: 26,000
He’s the next: Chris Paul
With this account, Philly’s new forward shows us that he has the chops of an Instagram style blogger, even using techniques such as the ever-popular style grid to hype up his followers. In between high-quality posts of clean looks featuring denim jackets and chinos that remind us of CP3’s, Jerami Grant appears destined to make an upcoming cover of GQ.

Shabazz Napier
Followers: 210,000
He’s the next: Serge Ibaka
Though the Charlotte Hornets point guard’s account is brand new and features only a dozen or so posts, Shabazz Napier has the honour of being the most suited-up rook we’ve seen yet. If he keeps it up, he may yet dethrone Serge Ibaka as the NBA’s quintessential sharp dresser.

James Young
Followers: 210,000
He’s the next: Nick Young
His lanky stature and a last name isn’t the only thing new Boston Celtics swingman James Young has in common with Swaggy P. He’s a fairly consistent poster on Instagram who offers up a mix of streetwear and wilder apparel, such as buttoned-up floral shirts. Just ignore the torn-up jeans—the kid’s learning.

Julius Randle
Followers: 228,000
He’s the next: Russell Westbrook
Equally at home wearing a shirt with wild prints or a suit with a shiny bowtie, Julius Randles’ penchant for fashionable fluidity is duly noted. Couple that with us knowing that he’s going places, he could be the next Russell Westbrook in the making.

Mitch McGary
Followers: 51,000
He’s the next: Chandler Parsons
Like his equally sharply-coiffed counterpart Chandler Parsons, Mitch McGary has an eye for grooming, style and great design—just look at all those ‘grams of his ride. The Knicks’ new power forward’s style is also comparable to Parsons in that he’s especially effective at pulling off a surfer casual look, and loves rocking A-shirts.

Jarnell Stokes
Followers: 21,000
He’s the next: Carmelo Anthony
Just like Carmelo Anthony, Jarnell Stokes has never met a bucket hat he didn’t like. The Memphis Grizzlies power forward’s willingness to clash prints and patterns also reminds us of the Knicks’ own veteran small/power forward, as do those chunky knits he’s always rocking.

Cleanthony Early
Followers: 69,000
He’s the next: J.R. Smith
Although his photography and curation skills could use a little work, there’s a clear pattern on Cleanthony Early’s Instagram account: the Knicks’ new forward is a budding sneakerhead, and he’s one of the few rooks who we see consistently posting pictures of his kicks. In the NBA, that’s a great thing. Expect his account to start blowing up with even more shots of his feet, not unlike fellow sneakerhead, J.R. Smith.
