Year-end festivities are just around the corner, and the pros are preparing in fitting fashion. Some are decorating, others are spending time with the fam and many are finding ways to give back in the spirit of the season. Herein, we found out what some basketball players are doing during the last few days before Christmas.
It looks like Christmas came early for Nick Young. No, there’s no snow in L.A.–Iggy Azalea just bought him a brand new ride to mark the occasion. A clearly enthused Swaggy P was reportedly seen taking the car for a cruise. Meanwhile, Iggy tweeted, “also i just want to say, where the f— is my man!? lol. i gave him a car and i haven’t seen him since all day. hahahaha. rude ass.” Looks like Young could use a few pointers.
It wouldn’t be a special occasion without the Bosh family’s awkward holiday photos. (Remember Thanksgiving?) Here, we see Chris and his wife, Adrienne, posing by holiday decorations.
According to his Instagram post, Dwyane Wade spent part of his run-up to Christmas reading How the Grinch Stole Christmas to young children. He did it as part of the Wade’s World Foundation’s “Three Under The Tree” campaign. (And yes, that’s the Grinch photobombing him in the back)
Ryan Anderson apparently went to visit Santa Claus. “I know him… I know him!” he excitedly wrote on Instagram. We thought about breaking it to him, but the guy was just so happy to meet old St. Nick. We just couldn’t.
Like many NBA players, Ronny Turiaf decided to give back this holidays. This year, he helped collect toy donations for kids.
Mike Miller spent some of his pre-season free time to shill last-minute gifts to his followers, which, if you think about it, is a fairly accurate definition of what the holidays are like these days. How very contemporary of him.
