Andrew Wiggins has been named Most Valuable Player Friday at the NBA All-Star Weekend’s Rising Stars Challenge. The native Canadian hit 22 points on 8-of-11 shooting during the rookie and sophomore exhibition match, helping his World team of international players beat the U.S. team in a 121-112 contest. Other standout performances during the game included those of Zach LaVine, who put up 22 points of his own, as well as Bojan Bogdanovic and Nikola Mirotic, who scored 16 points apiece. Wiggins will be participating in the highly anticipated dunk contest on Saturday against three other Rising Stars participants.
