Rapper and self-proclaimed universalist Pharrell Williams has a penchant for partnerships. From pouring his design know-how into handbags shaped like trains to going halfsies on hit singles that land him in hot water, Williams is a true team player if it means experimenting with new ways to be creative. His creativity has also touched on footwear thanks to a long-term partnership with Adidas he entered into at the beginning of last year, resulting in some of the hottest sneaker drops of the last decade. Here are the Pharrell kick collabs you need to know.

Adidas Originals Supercolor Pack
One of this year’s most eagerly awaited sneaker packs is Pharrell’s Supercolor line, which boasts the largest selection of colourways ever in a single release—a total of 50 monotone hues, in fact. The pack is expected to have a much wider release than the musician’s previous Superstar 80s (see below) when it’s available on March 27, 2015.
Adidas Originals Superstar 80s
Pharrell’s creative genius took the form of two limited edition Adidas Originals Superstar 80s released only in New York on the eve of the 2015 NBA All-Star Game. Both styles feature the silhouette in black leather, with the more expensive version sporting handcrafted multi-coloured beading all over in tribute to traditional Bolivian art. The cheaper version features just the brand’s iconic three stripes in a similar beaded design. These were some of the most impossible-to-get drops this year—even we haven’t seen these beauties up close.
