After the Washington Wizards swept the Toronto Raptors out of the playoffs Sunday night, D.C.’s star man Paul Pierce added insult to injury via a pair of Facebook posts. The first — a Game of Thrones reference playing on Toronto’s “We The North” slogan — is an image of Pierce sitting atop the Iron Throne with the words “King of the North” across it. The second features a Photoshopped image of Drake, the Raptors’ global ambassador, tearing open his shirt to reveal The Truth’s jersey. “If youre reading this the Wizards just swept [sic],” it reads. That last one’s especially cold, given how friendly Pierce was with the rapper after Game 3.
