The Cleveland Cavaliers crushed the Atlanta Hawks 118-88 during last night’s Game 4 of the 2015 Eastern Conference Finals, sweeping the southern team 4-0 and earning Ohio a spot at the NBA Finals table. It will be the first time the team has made the finals since James led them there in 2007, and it will be James’ fifth consecutive appearance.
That night, LeBron led the Cavs to the victory with 23 points, nine rebounds, seven assists and a block. He fought through cramps to bring Cleveland to a 114-111 overtime win in a harrowing Game 3, scoring his 12th playoff triple-double with 37 points, 18 rebounds and 13 assists. Needless to say, his performance has been incredible during this postseason. The Cavaliers have amassed two sweeps so far in the playoffs. If the team wins the championships, it will be for the first time.
Of course, getting one step closer to hoisting the Larry O’Brien Championship Trophy is great cause to celebrate. The team turned it up in a hot tub, dancing to Chedda Da Connect’s “Flicka Da Wrist” and sipping champagne. You’ve earned it, boys.
