Ending weeks of speculation, the NBA has announced that Stephen Curry is the recipient of this year’s NBA Most Valuable Player Award. The three-point shooting wizard emerged victorious in a stacked race against fellow superstars LeBron James, Russell Westbrook and James Harden, all deserving candidates in their own rights. Curry put up some of the most impressive numbers of any player in the association, finishing the regular season with an average 23.8 points, 7.7 assists and 4.3 rebounds per game. Harden, possibly the league’s best one-on-one player, was arguably Curry’s toughest competition. Unfortunately, there’s only room for one at the top—and, at least this year, the honour goes to the Baby Faced Assassin.
