Adidas is giving Washington Wizards point guard John Wall a follow-up to his first signature shoe. The new J Wall 2 silhouette features the same low-to-the-floor construction and grip of its predecessor, while improving upon the original formula with a Quickframe upper that ensures maximum maneuverability and flexibility. The upgrade we’re most excited about, however, is the louder, bolder colourways Adidas have in store for fans. The first two styles coming this fall are a “Home” version (featuring a white-on-grey camouflage upper with red accents) and the “Away” edition (featuring a tonal animal print in black on the upper).

Other colourways planned for the shoe pay tribute to Wall’s roots:

• Mama’s Boy – John shares a close relationship with his mother, Frances Pulley, who instilled within him the purpose of becoming the best person he can be
• Five Deep – The name coined for John’s crew of childhood friends
• Great Wall – Inspired by his tattoo and personal goals
• Raleigh & 919 – John’s hometown and area code in North Carolina
