Looks like Amir Johnson packing up for Boston won’t be the only change the Toronto Raptors will have undergone before the 2015-16 season tips off. At last night’s OVOFest, Drake revealed one of four new Raptors jerseys slated to hit the court once the off-season concludes. The set—which includes one design for home, one for the road and two alternates for away games—emphasizes the team’s Canadian roots. The chevrons along the side of the jersey have been reversed to point up (“north”), a maple leaf was added to the short’s waistband and a closer look at the side of the basketball bottoms reveals a “T.O.” shout-out to the city of Toronto. Ultimately, all four designs seem to have remained at least partially faithful to those originally leaked back in May.
According to the Toronto Raptors, jerseys will be available to purchase this fall. Check out the uniforms in more detail at the team’s website.
