LaMelo Ball-Zion Williamson Game Creates Buzz Unlike Any Other
In case you didn’t know, when LaMelo Ball and Zion Williamson square off, it’s a pretty big deal.
I’m sure everyone has heard of LaMelo Ball by now. His brother is currently a rookie on the Los Angeles Lakers, LaMelo has a scholarship to UCLA, and his father, well, it’s none other than LaVar Ball. Meanwhile, Zion Williamson is a pretty good amateur prospect in his own right – in fact, one of the top ranked high schoolers in his class.
On Wednesday, the two met in an AAU game – and it attracted literally everybody.
An over-filled gym saw the likes of Damian Lillard, Jamal Murray, and Andrew Wiggins among many others show up to watch the two bright prospects perform.
Ball led the way with 31-points, but Williamson’s 28-points were enough to provide his AAU team with the victory. Williamson’s SC Supreme took down the LaVar Ball-coached Big Baller team by a score of 104-92.
ESPN reported that LeBron James had plans of attending the game, but due to ‘security concerns’, couldn’t even step out of his car in what was described as a chaotic scene.
