Are the Cavaliers Preparing for Kyrie’s Departure?
The Cavaliers are reportedly meeting with former league Most Valuable Player Derrick Rose on Monday to discuss a one-year, $2.1-million deal. Earlier in the offseason, Rose met with the New York Knicks and the Milwaukee Bucks, stating that he would love to be a part of either franchise. Since he has also met with the Los Angeles Lakers, but currently the Cavs are beginning to seem like his most likely destination.
Rose is coming off a very productive season despite suffering yet another lower body injury. In 64 games with the Knicks, Rose averaged 18.0-points and 4.4-assists per game.
