Kevin Durant Sets A New Guinness World Records in India
Kevin Durant made his way down to India this past week to coach some of the top male and female basketball prospects in the country and came away with a Guinness World Record.
As previously reported, Durant was going to train kids at The NBA Academy India as well as many other boys and girls via satellite from Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, and Kolkata – all cities in India. Well, the NBA champ and the 3,459 Indian children from the Reliance Foundation Jr. NBA Program just happened to have set a brand new Guinness World Record for the world’s largest basketball lesson (multiple venues) ever held.
“Sharing my love of basketball with thousands of boys and girls across India was an unbelievable experience,” said Durant. “It was an honor to coach these amazing kids and to be a part of this special day.”
Just another day in the office for the Golden State Warriors superstar.
