Manu Ginobili Not Set to Leave the San Antonio Spurs Just Yet
Doesn’t it seem like every year we are questioning whether a San Antonio Spurs player is going to retire or not?
Well, this year all the talk has been around Manu Ginobili and whether or not he is open to returning for another season. After a couple of months of speculation, the verdict is in – Manu is not going anywhere! As first reported by Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, the four-time NBA Champion is set to return for his 16th NBA season.

One of the most decorated international superstars the NBA has ever seen, the Argentinian legend will turn 40 next week and is coming off a solid season in which he averaged 7.5-points per game in just under 19-minutes per game. Then in the postseason, Ginobili shined as he always does showing doubters that he still has more left in the tank.
With Ginobili back for at least one more season, the Spurs will now shift their focus to re-signing Pau Gasol who declined his 2017-18 player option.
