NBA Salary Cap Set at $119-million for 2017-18 Season

If you think the contracts being handed out this summer look outrageous, just wait until after the 2017-18 season.

Earlier on Saturday morning, the NBA announced that the salary cap has been set to $99.093-million for the 2017-18 season. The tax level for the season is a ridiculous $119.266-million. The NBA salary cap is predicted to climb over $120-million by 2020.

Free agency began at 12:01 a.m. ET on July 1, and free agents will be eligible to officially sign with teams on July 6.

Buckle up for an exciting summer!
