Tristan Thompson Big Winner at 2017 H.O.P.E. Awards
The Cleveland Cavaliers haven’t had the greatest summer, but at least Tristan Thompson has been productive in his effort to enduring all of the drama around him.
On Thursday night, the Cleveland Cavaliers big man was honoured, receiving recognition at the 2017 H.O.P.E. Awards alongside his mother Andrea Thompson. In what was a big moment for the family and their Amari Thompson Fund, the Cavaliers center had himself a very reflective and proud night.
Motivated by his younger brother, Amari, a boy who is struggling with epilepsy, Tristan started the Fund to help over 40,000 families who have children that struggle with the disease.
The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children’s, hosts of the H.O.P.E. Awards strive to protect children in need worldwide and honour those who attempt to do their part.
