Boris Diaw Done with NBA, Signs with Native French Team
The NBA has truly lost a national treasure.
Boris Diaw who has spent 14-years in the NBA, winning a championship with the 2014 San Antonio Spurs is heading back to his native France to play with Paris-Levallois, a pro-A club based in the nation’s capital of Paris.
The 35-year old coffee enthusiast may be the most underrated journeymen in the league, contributing both on and off the court at each stop of his career. A staple of the infamous seven-seconds-or-less Suns’ offence and a crucial bench player on a number of talented San Antonio teams, it appears as though Diaw is ready to leave his NBA days behind.
A near 50% field goal shooter throughout his career, Diaw has averaged 8.6-points, 4.4-rebounds, and 3.5-assists per game in his 14 years in the league.
There aren’t many players as entertaining as Diaw and he will truthfully be missed, but now, the frenchman is off to terrorize the EuroLeague!
