LeBron James, Dwyane Wade Reunite, Wade Signs with Cavaliers
Dwyane Wade is set to clear waivers on Wednesday and once he does, he will be reunited with his buddy.
After leaving $8-million on the table during a buy-out agreement with the Chicago Bulls, Wade is now set to sign with the Cleveland Cavaliers on a one-year, $2.3-million deal – a veteran’s minimum contract. Back with his best friend, LeBron James, the revamped Cleveland Cavaliers will look to head back to the NBA Finals for a fourth consecutive season with what looks like on paper as the most dominant team in the Eastern Conference.
The two were teammates in Miami for four years, helping bring the Heat organization two championships in the process. Outside of the Cavs, reports suggest that the San Antonio Spurs, Miami Heat, and Oklahoma City Thunder all coveted the superstar shooting guard.
As for Wade, he can afford to not ring chase at this point in his career, but why not go for another ring?
