Minor Adjustments

Buyout Market Coming to an End

Ilyasova to the Sixers, Brewer to OKC as Buyout Deadline Nears

The buyout deadline is March 1, and NBA teams are still making final adjustments in hopes if improving their chances once the playoffs arrive.

While some of the bigger names already found new homes, there are still a few players left on the board. The Atlanta Hawks have worked out a buyout with the sharp-shooting stretch four Ersan Ilyasova, who will now take his talents to the Philadelphia 76ers, while Corey Brewer has finalized a buyout with the Los Angeles Lakers and will now move onto the Oklahoma City Thunder.

The Thunder, who a few weeks ago lost Andre Roberson for the season had a need to add more wing depth, while the Sixers have decided to pile on the shooters around Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons.

In other news, the Indiana Pacers also made a move. After being bought out by the Sixers Trevor Booker, opted to sign with the Pacers providing Indiana with some depth up front.

The clock is ticking and there remain available players. How will the next few hours go down?
